Today is the last day of 2008. WOW. New Year's Resolutions? I don't think so. They are always broken. If I were to make one it would probably be to be the best person I could be to everyone that I meet in person or by phone or by mail. To think of the positive things and not the negative. To have people think of me as a good Christian person when they hear my name, not really for the recognition of things I have done or do except by my Christian actions. I want to be more involved with things at church. And you know when you do all of the above everything else will fall into place, --- finances, health benefits, job worries, everything.
No big plans for celebrating -- just stay in, watch some movies. Until next time..........
God gave us one tongue and two ears so we could hear twice as much as we speak.

Exciting Day
Today was exciting. Susan took the Choates to Sears to do family pictures and then some of just the boys and individuals. The one of Kyle on a chair was so sad --- sad because it looked like a senior picture! Then Emily, Susan, Kyle and Garrett had their picture made together and then me the foolish aunt went and bought T-shirts for their fun pictures --- Vanderbilt, Alabama, Titans and Ohio State. I will try to get this posted later when we get them back. Not much happened after that --- came home, rearranged furniture in the living room with Susan's help.
Until next time...........When all is said and done it is best to leave it that way.

Starting a blog
Wow, I can't believe I have started a blog. Maybe it will help get some of these random thoughts out of my head. And I am adddicted to other's blog sites so why not have one of my own. Em and Sissy will not believe it. Maybe they will not find out about it for a very long time. A couple of weeks ago I started South Beach Diet and was doing very well until the holidays hit --- I was terrible on Christmas Day. But back on the horse. Nothing can be done about what happened then --- start again now.
Speaking of Christmas Day --- of course, we all went to Liz's and had a great time. Pam, Troy and the boys came home from Ohio but Penny and Chris did not come from Michigan. Kyle and Garrett have really grown. Kyle is a young man now (14 - well 15 in January). We are all going to Em's tonight to spend some time together before they leave again on Sunday. Until next time .....
